President Biden recently announced that Venezuelan nationals outside the country could approach the nearest consulate. If there is a family member or friend interested in signing as a supporter, the national from Venezuela can apply for permission to visit the U.S.
This is not a visa but an opportunity to get a two-year work permit. In addition, applicants with a U.S. citizen spouse are entitled to get residence in the country.
The Venezuelan applicant definitely needs a supporter. It’s not necessary to be an immediate family member, but just a person that is interested in helping.
